Most Popular Questions
If you are ordering stickers with any of our specialty inks, it is imperative that your files are set up properly. The instructions below are for Adobe Illustrator.
Step 1: Create Spot Colors
A couple notes before you get started:
- The names and values need to be input exactly for the correct color to be printed.
- Ensure the fill of the artwork is the desired color, and the stroke is no fill.
White Ink

Step 2: Apply the Spot Colors
After you create the required spot colors, apply the spot color to the respective artwork.
Step 3: Review Layers
Make sure your artwork and cutlines are in the proper layers. It is important for the layer names and order to be as follows:
- "Artwork" - place your finished full color / CMYK artwork here. The spot colors are in two separate layers within the Artwork layer.
- "White" - place the white parts of your artwork here.
- "Metallic" - place the metallic silver parts of your artwork here.
Step 4: Save as a PDF
Saved the finished design as a PDF.
A few notes:
- If your sticker will not be kiss cut, then your file will not need a kiss-cut cutline or layer.
Margins - The through cut line should be offset from the kiss cut line by a minimum of 0.2".
Bleed - Bleed is the artwork that extends past the trim line or finished size of your product. If any element of your artwork is designed to be printed to the edge, it must be extended past the trim line and into the bleed area by a minimum of 0.1".
Cut Lines - The stroke of the kiss cut line and through cut line must be a minimum of 0.25pt.
Fine Detail - The finest detail we recommend is 0.5pt line-weight; however, please note that light colors or lines that are not solid (such as dotted lines) should be made thicker.
Image Resolution - All images should be 300 PPI or higher (at 100%). See: Image Quality
Can I create my stickers online?
We offer a free and easy-to-use Sticker Maker which will allow you to upload your logo or image and visualize your sticker in seconds! You can change the shape, adjust the size, scale your image and see the difference between classic cut and kiss cut!
Can I upload more than 1 design on a single order?

Do you print sticker rolls?
In March 2021, we will start offering sticker rolls which will be available in Soft Matte and Super Gloss! The stickers (and inks) will be waterproof, tear resistance and are meant for indoor use.
Stickers will be available to be ordered in any custom shape with a minimum shape of 1" x 1" to a maximum image size of 8" x 8".
How do colors show up on transparent stickers?
Due to the translucent quality of ink, when printed over a transparent stock, the colors will be see-through and will look a lot lighter than they do when viewed on screen.
The surface which your transparent sticker will be placed on will greatly affect the overall appearance of the printed image. For example, when a transparent sticker is adhered to a white surface, the colors will appear more vibrant, opaque and closer to how they look in your proof. If the sticker is placed over a dark colored or patterned surface , it will reduce the visibility of your printed design. Additionally, when a transparent sticker is placed on a clear glass or a window, the colors can appear very light and will be the most see-through.
Overall, we recommend using dark colors when designing for transparent stickers and to avoid light colors as these will appear more translucent when printed and reduce the visibility of your printed artwork. Alternatively, consider adding a white ink underlay to enhance the colors and visibility by choosing either our Super Matte Transparent or Super Gloss Transparent sticker.
